Beyond Our Normal Work
| As well as our ongoing support for Bolton Lads & Girls Club we also have a nominated charity that we are supporting through 2021. The team choose a charity which is close to our hearts and this year we will be supporting Breathing Matters, which was nominated by Becky, our Customer Service Administrator. Sadly, Becky’s dad passed away last year from Interstitial Lung Disease and Breathing Matters is a charity that aims to raise awareness and find a cure for pulmonary fibrosis and lung infection. You can find out more about their work at breathingmatters.co.uk. As part of our fund-raising efforts, the team are doing a virtual sponsored walk from our office to Barcelona. This is a massive 1,143 miles, which we have calculated to equate to 2,286,000 steps. Our aim is to achieve this by the end of June this year. The second of which started out as a personal challenge for Gary. He is going to complete a Tough Mudder in September of this year. If you don’t know what Tough Mudder entails, this is what he is letting himself in for! Some of our amazing team and their family members have now decided that they would like to join Gary on this madness! So, we also have Jade, Kish and Kate taking part as well as Becky’s son Reilly.
