The Myths of Life Insurance

Barlow Irvin’s Protection Specialist, Jade Winstanley, is here to help with all matters to protect you and your family. This month, Jade talks about the myths of life insurance.

These are some of the things that I have heard people say over my years of dealing with insurance.  I can dispel these myths.

They Never Pay Out

The only time that insurers don’t pay out is if you give false information on your application.  The providers we work with are multi-billion-pound blue chip companies, who’s aim isn’t to upset their customers.

It’s Too Expensive

The average price of a life insurance policy is less than the price of your daily cup of coffee.

I Don’t Need It

You may not need it – but your family do!  A policy that takes some of the financial burden away from them after you have gone means that you are able to take care of your family from the grave.

It’ll Never Happen to Me

Martin Lewis – the financial expert – recently said that “one out of 27 children lose a parent before the age of 18.” That’s the equivalent of one child per school class.  This really is a shocking statistic – it really could happen to you!

The whole point of having insurance is that you and your loved ones are protected should the worst happen.  Don’t take the gamble, ring  our Protection Specialist, Jade Winstanley on 01204 304814.
